About
I write one observation a day.
The format is borrowed from Ray Dalio's Daily Observations: instead of long essays published occasionally, this is a short, disciplined note published daily. Each entry follows the same four-part structure:
- What I observed — the raw fact or event, stated as specifically as possible.
- Why it matters — the context and the bigger picture it connects to.
- My take — my interpretation, with an honest note on how confident I am.
- What I'm watching — what would confirm or falsify my take.
The goal is not to be right every day. The goal is to write down what I believe before the outcome is known, so I can look back and see where my thinking was sound and where it wasn't.
Nothing here is investment advice.
